Taking place simultaneously in the theatre and on the streets of Leeds, RUNNER is a performance about running and exhaustion.

Why do we value people when they push themselves to their limits? Setting a pace, covering distance, breaking a sweat – a woman is running outside of the theatre. You’re invited to witness this unfamiliar body making its way through the city.

Is she seeking something, or is she making an escape?

RUNNER explores the interwoven and contradictory joys, miseries and potentials of all types of exhaustion.
