Jeneba Kanneh-Mason – piano

One of the most exciting young pianists of the new generation, Jeneba Kanneh-Mason has been taking the world by storm since her BBC Proms debut in 2022. She brings an exciting and eclectic programme of Claude Debussy, Ludwig van Beethoven and American composers Florence Price and William Grant Still, ending with Frédéric Chopin’s poetic third and fourth Ballades.

This concert is part of the Leeds International Piano Series 2025/26.

About the series

Welcome to a brand-new season of the Leeds International Piano Series, presented by Leeds International Concert Season in partnership with Leeds International Piano Competition.

This new season brings together a wonderful mix of some of the most exciting pianists of the younger generation alongside some of the world’s most distinguished pianists.

And, with two competitors from the 2024 Leeds International Piano Competition in the line-up, you can be assured of a cornucopia of sublime piano music in performances by some of the leading pianists of our time.
