OUTDOOR, FLASHING LIGHTS, SOUND
This monumental 32 meter-long sculpture captures the complete movements of an airborne bird. 64 sections of birds in different phases of flight are animated with pulses of light and sound. Imagine the migration of a bird crossing different environments, natural or built, peaceful or tumultuous, solo or in a flock. A highlight of Light Night Leeds, this captivating and enchanting artwork draws attention to the declining bird population.

INDOOR, LOUD, FLASHING LIGHTS
Two bold new performance works celebrate dance as an act of resistance, a source of unity and a tool for cultural survival. One piece takes inspiration from ancient raves and social dance gatherings during times of revolution, oppression and occupation, particularly in Ireland and Cuba. The other journeys into the chaotic beauty of 1990s rave and queer club culture, remixing memory, identity and nostalgia.
