South African cellist Abel Selaocoe is one of the outstanding artists of our time, a true virtuoso who moves seamlessly across a plethora of genres and styles, redefining the parameters of the cello. He was recently announced as Southbank Centre’s Artist in Residence in the 2022/23 season, while The Times has said, “I can’t think of one who radiates so much heart and joy as Abel Selaocoe”.
