‘Jacqueline Lentzou’s intriguing, unconventional feature debut eschews anything as trite as a big emotional rapprochement, but it does ultimately carve out a shared emotional space for [its characters].’ – Wendy Ide, Screen International

‘The tidal currents of Moon, 66 Questions gently pull us out into an ocean of captivating gaps, ellipses and silences, granting an enormously rich emotional rich experience for those willing to go with its flow.’ – Alexandra Heller-Nicholas, AWFJ Women on Film

Acclaimed shorts director Jacqueline Lentzou has made one of the most distinctive debuts of recent years with her new feature Moon, 66 Questions. After being away for years, Artemis has to return to Athens to look after her father Paris, who has been suddenly incapacitated by a serious illness. Neither party is comfortable assuming their new role and it takes the discovery of a well-kept secret to encourage understanding and bring father and daughter together. Lentzou inventively represents both characters’ perspectives despite their initial lack of communication and the film is constantly engaging and unconventional throughout.
